Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West

Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is a Western-themed museum that features four buildings with over 100 Western art pieces.

In 1999 Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West was founded as a non-profit organization by Steve and Richele Bryan, a husband and wife team who were both Western enthusiasts. The Bryans began Western Spirit as a Western history exhibit that featured Western artifacts from their collection. In December 2012 Western spirit moved to its current location at 16601 North Northsight Blvd., Scottsdale 85260. The new building has been designed to house more than 100 pieces including 19th-century furniture authentic to the region. Western Spirit’s mission is to educate Western enthusiasts and train Western artists. Western Spirit also hopes to shed light on Western history in general through its exhibits, education programs, and events.

Since opening Western spirit has showcased several collections, the first was the 1800s Billings Trading Post which complemented Steve Bryan's collection of early Arizona artifacts including baskets, tools, clothing, and Native American artwork. Learn More Here
